Welcome to the dog trainer academy at Petropolis.

Petropolis opened its doors in 1988.  Our 22,000 square foot complex, located in Chesterfield, Missouri, is the first of its kind in the country. It brings together “Under One Woof” the many needs of household pets and students wanting to pursue a dog training career.

The Petropolis Academy of Pet Grooming began training future pet groomers in 1993.  Our dog trainer academy was later added, bringing us to our current day career school. Petropolis’ instructors are the best in the business. The Trainer and Groomer Academy is certified to operate by the Missouri Coordinating Board of Higher Education. We are also approved as an International Society of Canine Cosmetologists Certified Pet Styling School. We are also a member of the Missouri Association of Private Career Schools.
